World and Seasonal Content
The outdoor layer: short, solo-friendly, rebuilt every patch, and home to the best currency-per-minute in the game.
The outdoor lane
Outside dungeons and raids there is a layer of world content that gears you: repeatable objectives, weekly bosses, and one or two seasonal systems that are rebuilt every patch.
It is easy to dismiss, and that is a mistake. It is where most of the currency that ignores the weekly cap comes from, it needs no group, and several parts of it take ten minutes. The catch is that it changes shape every season, so what worked last patch may not exist this one.
Tiered world events
The season's headline outdoor activity runs in tiers, the same way delves do: pick a difficulty, get paid accordingly. They are group-friendly but rarely group-required, and each one is a short commitment.
| Tier | Into the vault | Pays | Minutes |
|---|---|---|---|
| T1 | 279 (Veteran 1/6) | 5 Champion Mistcrest | 10 |
| T2 | 282 (Veteran 2/6) | 10 Champion Mistcrest | 12 |
| T3 | 285 (Veteran 3/6) | 15 Champion Mistcrest | 15 |
| T4 | 289 (Veteran 4/6) | 10 Hero Mistcrest | 18 |
| T5 | 292 (Champion 1/6) | 20 Hero Mistcrest | 10 |
| T6 | 298 (Champion 3/6) | 15 Myth Mistcrest | 12 |
Look at the currency column against the minutes column. This is frequently the best crests-per-hour in the game, and it is the part of a week most people skip because it is not on a group finder.
This season’s extra systems
Each patch adds something that does not fit the existing categories. This season:
| System | What it is | Rewards |
|---|---|---|
| Tidebound Grotto Lair | Instanced world boss (Nymrissa Wavecaller) on The Coiled Isle. Weekly lockout, scales from World to Mythic. World difficulty drops Veteran-track gear and is the only difficulty open in week 1. Kills count toward the Great Vault's Raid row alongside The Venomous Abyss. | 279 – 318, feeds the raid vault row |
The ones that feed a vault row are the ones to prioritise. A short weekly boss that fills a raid slot is worth considerably more than its item level suggests, because it buys you a vault pick you would otherwise have raided for.
The uncapped currency out here
These sources pay currency outside the weekly cap, which makes them the highest-value minutes in your week. Most of them live out in the world, most are once per week, and most are easy to forget.
| Source | Where | Pays |
|---|---|---|
| Cracked Keystone | Tier 11 Delve quest | 20 Hero and 30 Myth |
| Nightmare Prey | Weekly quest | 20 Hero |
| Nemesis Boss (Delves) | Delve rare encounter (Azta'rec, Venomfall Deeps) — any Tier 8+ Delve | 30 Hero and 30 Myth |
If you do nothing else outdoors, do these.
Reputation vendors
Building reputation with the season's factions unlocks gear you can simply buy, which makes it the most reliable gearing in the game — no drop chance, no group, no luck. It is slow, and it is excellent for filling the one slot that refuses to drop.
| Faction | Gear at |
|---|---|
| Silvermoon Court | renown 2, 9 — up to item level 285 |
| Amani Tribe | renown 2, 9 — up to item level 285 |
| Hara'ti | renown 2, 8 — up to item level 285 |
| The Singularity | renown 2, 7 — up to item level 285 |
Check these against your own gear before grinding reputation for them. Vendor gear is a catch-up and a slot-filler; once you are past its item level it stays passed.
How ResetReady uses this
World content is where the planner most often disagrees with how people actually play. It ranks by item level per hour, and a ten-minute outdoor objective paying uncapped currency routinely outranks the dungeon someone was about to queue for.
It also handles the awkward part: several of these are once-weekly and the game does not always tell us whether you have done them. Where we can read it, the planner tracks it. Where we cannot, it shows up as something you can tick off yourself rather than silently disappearing.
